The Management case study exam is a difficult exam. It's different because you are not really required to replicate what's written in the text book, but you have to convince the examiner why your answer is right. The task becomes even more difficult if you have come from the gateway route. The pass rate for gateway level students is extremely low because they don't really know what's expected from them.
